Anita and Steve White are the Directors of Tutor Doctor Gravesend & Kent, an award-winning education provider delivering personalised one-to-one tuition and specialist educational support across Kent and Medway.

With Anita’s background in education and more than 10 years’ experience working with children and young people, Anita and Steve have built a growing education business centred around one simple belief: the student should be at the heart of their education.

Tutor Doctor Gravesend & Kent supports students from primary through to GCSE and A-Level, alongside a significant and growing focus on neurodivergent students, SEND, EHCPs, EOTAS and alternative provision. As an approved provider on the Kent County Council and Medway Council external tuition framework, the team works with families, schools and local authorities to provide personalised education for children and young people, including those who may face barriers to accessing or engaging with mainstream education.

In 2026, Anita and Steve were incredibly proud to be recognised as Tutor Franchisee of the Year at the National Tutoring Awards, celebrating the commitment, values and impact of their growing team of tutors, teachers and education specialists.

Beyond Tutor Doctor, Anita and Steve are also Directors of Gifted Young Generation (GYG) and are involved in wider youth and community initiatives through The Grand in Gravesend, supporting youth voice, aspirations, confidence, employability and opportunities for young people.
